How RanchSense Satellite Connectivity Actually Works (and Why It Matters)

The cell network problem

If you've ever tried to use a cell-based ranch monitoring product, you know the failure mode. The catalog says "text alerts on water levels." You install the sensor. Then you discover the back pasture has one bar of cell, the north pasture has none, and the brush country tank — the one that needs monitoring most — doesn't have signal at all.

Cell-based ranch monitoring works in suburbs. It fails on actual working ranches.

The satellite alternative
