Trailer & Hauling
Hitches, lights, straps, and parts to keep the trailer rolling. Hauler-tested gear from the team behind Flying F Trailers.
What we carry
Forged hitch balls (1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16") from Curt. Sealed submersible LED light kits from Optronics with 25 ft harnesses. Heavy-duty rubber wheel chocks from Buyers Products. Trailer bearing and seal kits from Dexter Axle. Plus brake controllers, breakaway switches, tie-down points, and replacement parts.
Bearing maintenance
Trailer bearing failures cause more roadside breakdowns than any other trailer issue. The annual repack is the most important maintenance task on a working trailer. Read our Trailer Bearing Maintenance guide for the schedule and procedure.
Lighting
LED beats incandescent for vibration resistance, submersion tolerance, and service life. We only carry DOT-stamped, IP67+ sealed kits. Read our DOT Compliance Cheat Sheet for what your trailer actually needs.
Hay season hauling
For load securement: 1-7/8 " or 2" ratchet straps with 3,333 lb working load. Read the federal cargo securement math in Hauling Hay Tie-Down Math — most ranchers under-strap by 30%.
From the Flying F Trailers team
Legacy Ranch Supply is run by the same crew behind Flying F Trailers. We've replaced more bearings, rewired more harnesses, and rebuilt more brake systems than we care to count. The gear we stock is the gear we've used.
